Whole bathrooms
Everything comes out and the room gets built back up from the substrate. Once the old suite and tiling have gone we sort whatever’s been sat behind them, then set the services out around how you’ll actually use the room.

- Boarding over the walls, tanking through the wet zone
- Bath, shower, basin, WC, brassware and wastes
- Tiling or panelling, plus whatever goes on the floor

Shower rooms
Almost always starts with a bath nobody has climbed into since the kids left home. Once it’s gone the room reads far bigger, and in an ordinary bathroom the whole swap is days rather than weeks.

Wet rooms
Take the tray out of the equation and the floor becomes the shower — tanked right through and graded to the outlet. Not a thing to step over, which is why it’s what we put forward first where getting about is the issue.

En-suites & cloakrooms

Tiling, panelling & floors
This is what separates a room that looks fitted from one that looks thought about. Lines struck off the centre, joints running dead true, grout and sealant ordered to match instead of whatever was rattling about in the van.

Single fittings
A decent share of calls are about one item, not a whole room. Something’s packed in, or it just looks twenty years old. We change it over and leave everything round it exactly where it stands.

Warmth
Rails, radiators and underfloor matting go in at first fix, while the boards are still up and the runs are easy to reach.
Making good
The scar where the old tiling stopped, the ceiling over it, the corners nobody enjoys — filled, skimmed and blended out.
Easier access
Level floors, trays with next to no upstand, rails fixed into something that’ll genuinely take a person’s weight.
